Every couples wants to have long-lasting relationship. It's not quite hard, but you need efforts to make it. Love is needed, but respect and attention are most important to keep the relationship. Here, I suggest you some tips to have long-lasting relationship.
1. Control your anger.
Express your anger to your lover is good, but don't angry too much. If you go to your anger, you will go to be worse. Calm you down. When you try to don't be angry, you will find that your relationship is wonderful. You can talk calmly to your lover that she/he did mistake, but don't be angry to her/him. You can say "I don't like you do ..." calmly. When you tell her/him calmly, she/he will respond you well and will change her/his attitude.
2. Give attention all time
Some people do not care with little attention, but actually little attention will mean so much. Try to praise him/her every time she/he does something well or look beauty. You also can give little surprise even if it's not his/her birthday. If you give a little attention often, you will see that your love grows everyday.
3. Stay involved with each other.
Some relationships get stuck in peaceful coexistence, but without truly relating to each other and working together. While it may seem stable on the surface, lack of involvement and communication increases distance. When you need to talk about something important, the connection and understanding may no longer be there. Many relationships get bogged down in the struggle of general survival, keeping a roof over your heads, feeding the family, dealing with extended family, elderly parents etc. Try not to only work on these things but on the two of you as well.
4. Keeping outside relationships and interests alive.
No one person can meet all of our needs, and expecting too much from someone can put a lot of unhealthy pressure on a relationship. Having friends and outside interests not only strengthens your social network, but brings new insights and stimulation to the relationship, too.
